Vivelys USA is happy to announce a new member in his team.

Nils Teissier du Cros joined Vivelys USA’s team in January 2012 as Consultant. He will be consulting with customers in each step of the winemaking process, mainly the technical aspects of winemaking but also at managerial level to help improving winery’s organisation. For this purpose he will use the application of Vivelys that calculates optimal picking dates across multiple vineyard blocks, craft better wines through micro- or macro-oxygenation, or improve fermentations and prevent Brettanomyces —all products and services offered by Vivelys, alongside our Boisé line of premium French oak chips as well as his broad knowledge in winery management and wine consumption.

After gaining a broad experience in winemaking in France, Australia, Spain, Chile and United States, Nils has intimate knowledge of winemaking techniques used across the globe. He previously worked 3 years with Vivelys as the leading manager of the Global Wine Experimentations. He spent the past two years in Boston to obtain an MBA in International Business and Sustainable Management from Brandeis University.

Nils is available for visit to help customers to work on their wine profiles or improve winery operations. Contact him at ntdc@vivelys.com, or 1 (707) 332 1078.

Looking at the end of harvest and the challenges of this year, the Vivelys consulting team came up with 2 protocols (one for Cab. Sauv, one for Merlot) to help prevent vegetal notes in the wines, using our expertise in the use of O2, oak alternatives and management of the wine profile.

If you are interested in knowing more about them, feel free to contact Alexandre Remy our wine consultant (ar@vivelys.com, 707 481 8114).

Hope this can help,

Best,

Cyril Derreumaux
